Privacy & Mandate Agreement

This Privacy & Mandate Agreement (version v1.0 - 8 Oct 2026) applies to every finance application submitted through the ClickCapital website.

How it is signed: when you click See my lender matches on our application form, you agree to and electronically sign this agreement. We record the date, time and details of your submission as your signature, and a signed copy is saved to your file. You can ask us for a copy at any time.

1. I agree to the 90-Day Exclusive Finance Mandate

I grant ClickCapital the sole and exclusive authority to act on my behalf to seek, negotiate, structure, and arrange finance. I agree that I will not engage any other finance broker, consultant, or lender directly for these purposes while this mandate is active. This exclusive agreement remains strictly valid for 90 days from the time of signing.

2. I consent to credit reporting checks

I authorise ClickCapital and the lenders on its panel to obtain my consumer and commercial credit information from credit reporting bodies (including Equifax, Centrix and illion) under the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ) and the Credit Reporting Privacy Code 2020. I understand that both soft enquiries (which do not affect my credit score) and, where a lender proceeds to assessment, hard enquiries may be made.

3. I consent to sharing my application with matched lenders

I authorise ClickCapital to forward my application, supporting documents, bank statements and any related correspondence to lenders, brokers and aggregators on its panel for the purpose of assessing my finance application and providing me with quotes. I understand each lender will handle my information under its own privacy policy.

4. I consent to read-only banking data retrieval

I authorise the retrieval of read-only banking data through accredited third-party providers (including bankstatements.com.au, illion BankStatements and equivalents) for the purpose of verifying income, expenses and trading performance. No payments can be made and no passwords are stored.

5. I consent to identity verification

I authorise ClickCapital and its lender panel to verify my identity, including via electronic identity verification services (such as DVS, GreenID or equivalent), and to verify the existence and status of my business and directorship records via the NZ Companies Office and NZBN register and equivalent public registries.

6. I have read and accept the ClickCapital Privacy Policy and Terms

I confirm I have read and accept ClickCapital's Privacy Policy (clickcapital.co.nz/privacy) and Terms of Service (clickcapital.co.nz/terms), and I understand how my personal information will be collected, stored, used and disclosed.

The exclusive mandate in clause 1 starts when you submit your application and ends 90 days later.
